Lymphedema

Lymphedema is a condition where excess lymphatic fluid accumulates in the tissues, causing swelling, discomfort, and a range of other symptoms. This happens when the lymphatic system is unable to adequately drain the fluid, leading to an accumulation in the affected area.
Lymphedema can be caused by a variety of factors, including surgery, radiation therapy, infection, trauma, or an inherited condition. It commonly affects the arms and legs, but can also occur in other parts of the body.
